Consignment
Special cars deserve a proper introduction.
Selling a car you care about involves more than creating a listing. Roadworthy brings preparation, photography, documentation, and market positioning into one considered process.
The process
One considered process, in stages.
Each stage builds on the last. Understanding comes before preparation; preparation before presentation; presentation before the sale. Nothing is skipped, and nothing is added that the car doesn't need.
Understand the car
We start with an honest understanding. History, specification, condition, service records, ownership, modifications, and known needs — alongside your goals. Nothing is decided before the car is understood.
Establish the approach
The appropriate scope and selling route depend on the vehicle and your priorities. Not every car belongs on the same platform, and not every car benefits from the same preparation. We talk through the options honestly.
Prepare thoughtfully
Detailing, paint correction, and dry ice cleaning where they serve the car — and only where they serve it. Preparation is proportionate to condition and objectives, never a fixed menu applied to everything.
Photograph and document
Photographs, records, and condition details that help a prospective buyer understand the vehicle. Imperfections and known issues are documented, not hidden. Honesty protects everyone.
Present the story
Storytelling is the clear organization of supported facts: specification, ownership, maintenance, condition, and character. The story is accurate. We don't embellish provenance, and presentation never substitutes for condition.
Support the sale
Sales activities are confirmed with you in advance — platform submission, listing preparation, inquiries, auction management, paperwork, payment, and transport — so responsibilities are clear before we begin.

Auction preparation
Ready for the right platform — not any platform.
Online auctions can be an excellent route for the right car. We prepare vehicles for auction submission — including Bring a Trailer, which has been part of the planned offering — with the documentation, photography, and honest disclosure those platforms expect.
We don't imply an official partnership or guaranteed acceptance. The platform decides what it lists; our job is to make sure the car is genuinely ready and accurately represented when it does.
Is your car a fit?
If it's a car worth caring about, we'd like to hear about it.
We don't impose eligibility rules or price thresholds. If your car has character — an interesting specification, thoughtful maintenance, originality, a meaningful story — we're glad to consider it. If it isn't a fit for consignment, we'll say so, and we may still be able to help with preparation or preservation.
The best way to find out is a conversation.
