Richmond, Virginia — Automotive Consignment & Preservation

For cars worth caring about.

Roadworthy brings together automotive consignment, dry ice cleaning, detailing, and thoughtful presentation — so a special car is understood and represented the way it deserves.

The idea

Some cars deserve a closer look. The specification. The service history. The details that have survived, and the care that has kept them there.

Roadworthy brings those details into view through considered preparation, photography, and presentation. We treat selling a special car with the same care that went into owning it — and we offer the same attention to someone who simply wants to keep theirs in good order.

The work

Prepare. Present. Pass it on.

These activities belong together. A car that has been thoughtfully prepared can be photographed honestly. A car that is documented clearly can be presented with confidence. And a car that is presented well is far more likely to find the right next owner.

01 — Prepare

Cleaning, detailing, paint correction, preservation.

We start with the materials and finishes in front of us. Dry ice cleaning for underbodies and engine bays, detailing for interiors and exteriors, paint correction where it serves the car. The scope is proportionate to condition and objectives — never more than the car needs.

02 — Present

Photography, records, condition, honest storytelling.

Clear photographs, organized records, and a straightforward account of specification, maintenance, and condition. Imperfections and known issues are documented, not hidden. A buyer should understand the car before they travel to see it.

A car presented clearly, ready to meet its next owner.

03 — Pass it on

Consignment, market positioning, auction preparation.

When it's time to sell, the preparation and presentation come together into a considered listing. We help position the car for the right audience and platform — and prepare cars for online auctions, including Bring a Trailer, where the car and owner are a fit.

Evidence of the approach

Good work deserves a closer look.

We're building Roadworthy around documented, honest work — real process photographs, accurate captions, and before-and-after comparisons of the same vehicle and area. As completed projects are verified and publication rights are secured, they'll appear here.

Until then, what we can show is the approach: the way we look at a car before deciding what it needs, the way we explain the scope, and the way we document what was done. Specificity and transparency are the standard, not a finishing touch.

Next steps

How a conversation begins.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the car

Share what you drive, what you have in mind, and anything you already know about its history and condition. No VIN or formal records required to start.

  2. 02

    Discuss goals and appropriate scope

We talk through your priorities — selling or keeping — and what the car genuinely needs. Preparation should be proportionate, not automatic.

  3. 03

Agree on the work and next steps

We settle the scope, the responsibilities, and the timeline together before any work begins. You'll know what we're doing and why.
